The following contract was signed into effect on 15 Manthus 178 AO by Uergus Warmanes of Galantir and the Fellows of Atân:

By written accord on this day 14 of the month of Manthus, 178 AO, His Honor the Mayor Intendant of Galantir, Uergus Warmanes, entrusts the named persons of Edion, Academic in Residence Nimlinor the Young, Academic in Tarriance Nerenethos the Fey, His Grace Narntay of Adelland, His Grace Yngvarr Yngvildir's Son, Valandil Son of Vondir, and the pilgrim Mabul of lowest station (hereafter collectively "The Consigned") with an Imperial Commision, giving all rights and privileges granted thereto:

The Consigned are granted, effective noon, 15 Manthus 178 AO, license to raid Granitehome (Province of Nockbrook, by charter revision "XIX. ii. Amendment D" signed 12 Gildember 171 AO) for the privilege of plunder. No party save the Consigned shall be granted said privilege until the expiration of twelve plus one days, reckoned from noontime the date of signing. The Consigned are granted tempory ownership of valuables obtained under license (hereafter "Plunder"), including but not limited to coins, jewels, works of wonder, and cultural relics obtained under contract, for the purpose of returning Plunder to Galantir by the most expedient route; whereby, as is customary under law, the monetary and cultural value of the Plunder will be assessed by a predicant of the Cult of Matravus (hereafter "The Assessor"). At which time, the Mayor Intendant of Galantir, Uergus Warmanes, will levy a tax equal to 40 per cent of the determined total value of the Plunder. Full and permanent ownership of the Plunder will be transferred to the Consigned pending receipt of this tax. Plunder will be held in trust by the Assessor until the tax is paid.

As agreed under verbal contract, and bearing the full effect of the laws of Glanis, the Consigned are permitted to designate one discreet item obtained as Plunder, which shall not be taxed, nor figured into the taxable value of the Plunder. This item, to be designated in person by the Consigned to the Assessor, shall be deemed full and permanent property of the Consigned.

In exchange for the Mayor Intendant Warmanes' broadmindedness in granting this license, The Consigned are oathbound to dismiss the guardian siva Kartadza (hereafter "The Watcher"), using the words imparted to Yngvarr Yngvildir's Son by the exiled Godking Seviamos of Sol-Fatara. If the Watcher is not banished as stipulated, all privileges granted by this license are revoked.

Amendment A: Membership in the party "The Consigned" is revised, excluding Valandil Son of Vondir from the privileges and rights granted thereto. Permission is granted to Valandil Son of Vondir (hereafter "The Elf") to accompany the Consigned on their expedition to Granitehome, but the Elf is granted no permission to seize, possess, or otherwise acquire Plunder as defined above. The Elf, though he perceives himself unbinded by the laws of Men, will find himself woefully misinformed should he seek to circumvent or otherwise distort the intent of this license or Amendment A.

Additionally, His Honor the Mayor Intendant of Galantir, Uergus Warmanes, will provide the Consigned with a full military escort to and from Granitehome, numbering no less than twelve armed Men, to be commanded by the Mayor's esteemed cousin Captain Sheeral Warmanes. Captain Warmanes and his deputies are charged with upholding the full letter and legality of this license as stated above and subsequent to this Amendment.
